If you are thinking of buying the new iPhone 6S 16 GB, then stop right now and read this article first.
It is true that Apple’s iPhone is the top selling phone and they sure know how to make a lot of profit. People go crazy for an iPhone even if the technology used in an iPhone is that was already being used in 2012. All they do is add features like TouchID and a great camera. Then they are ready to charge people £400 for it. Now Apple recently announced iPhone SE. It has the specs of iPhone 6S but the frame of iPhone 5S. They are charging $399 for it which is the cheapest price for a new iPhone.
Sam Murray, a mobile phone blogger and editor in the UK, believes that 16GB phones without expandable storage are soon going to be a thing of the past:
“In 2016 people don’t want a smartphone that, after a couple of days of typical usage, no longer works because there is no available space left. And because of that we’re going to see the death of 16GB phones unless they all start supporting expandable storage, something which I think Appel will never do.”
It is not wise to buy a 16GB iPhone, although Apple is earning massive amount of profit on iPhone 6s 16GB and iPhone SE. Apple loves sucking out the money out of people’s pockets even though it is already the largest selling brand. You wouldn’t be able to use a 16GB iPhone after 7 days of using it. Nokia 3310 is definitely a better choice than a 16GB iPhone 6s. The reason being that you would easily fill up the memory after using the phone for just a week. The phone would not let you use most of the apps and would warn to empty up space. The most irritating thing about Apple is that they do not offer expandable memory so you are stuck with a 16GB smartphone.
It wouldn’t be easy for you to decide what to delete. You would be always worried about deleting your photos, music, iBooks or games. You cannot have all your collection in a 16 GB phone. The phone would start getting stuck. Many apps would not work properly like WhatsApp. You would not be able to receive emails or use twitter. You would regret paying £429 for a smartphone which wouldn’t let you do anything after a couple of days.
You would be looking for different methods of freeing up storage on your iPhone. At that time you would realize that you made a big mistake in investing this much money on something so impractical. You would ask yourself why didn’t Apple make a 32GB version or just gave a microSD slot? So before it is too late, look for other options rather than spending money on a inoperable 16 GB iPhone 6s.
